THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA AUDITION INFORMATION
WHO CAN AUDITION: Auditions for BBTEP's production of The Phantom of the Opera is our first high school-college camp! those auditioning must be enrolled in either 9-12th grade, or enrolled at a college or university during the 2019-2020 school year. Those enrolled at a college or university must provide a copy of their course schedule at auditions to verify their enrollment.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR: The Phantom of the Opera takes place in the Paris Opera House and is completely sung with minimal dialogue. Because of this, we are looking for a cast of exceptional singers. We are also looking to cast a troupe of ballet dancers for the various operas throughout the show. Dancers should also be able to sing well. Lead roles (with the exception of Christine and Meg) will only be dancing a small amount.

Initial auditions for BBTEP's The Phantom of the Opera will be vocal AND dance. The dance audition will be so our choreographer can see basic skills, and who she needs to see at the dance callback.
At the vocal audition, you MUST audition with the voice part you wish to sing in the show if cast. When you come in for your vocal audition, you will come prepared with ONE of the selections below for your voice part. After you perform that selection, the Vocal Director will choose a second selection he would like to see you perform, so please be prepared for all 5 selections for your voice part.
