AUDITION INFORMATION
It's Gonna Be A Night You'll Never Forget! Carrie is dropping onto the BBCHS stage this April! This is our 2027 submission to the Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards- this show will be an intense rehearsal period and will require intense dedication from all those cast. All spring sports and activities need to be cleared with Mr. Morgan before auditions- any conflicts for Carrie will be put into consideration when casting. We are looking for no more than 25 people for this state competition cast.
CARRIE WILL REHEARSE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. IT WILL OVERLAP WITH BOTH MEAN GIRLS AND LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.
Auditions are open to any CURRENTLY enrolled
BBCHS student.
CARRIE is our submission to the 2027 Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards. The rehersal process for our IHSMTA show is much more focused and intense- and we expect our cast members in this show to put in extra work to make this show the best it can be. Please keep in mind we ask for more commitment for this show than any other of our season shows- especially from those cast in an IHSMTA eligible role. Please see the role breakdown below to find information about those eligible roles. Ig you are interested in an IHSMTA eligible role, please know there is a lengthy process you have to go through to finalize your IHSMTA submission.

Initial Audition:
Each student auditioning will choose ONE selection from the below suggestions. Dylan will choose a second song for you to sing- SURPRISE! The initial audition selections are split up by masculine characters and feminine characters- please feel free to sing a selection from whichever list you want! You do not have to pick an audiiton selection based on your gender.

Dance Audition:
We'll be having a dance audition on September 21st. A practice video will be available at a closer date.
Lead Callback:
The third and final night of auditions will be lead callbacks. This is when we need to see your character shine through!
