AUDITION INFORMATION

We are E-X-C-I-T-E-D to finally bring The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to the BBCHS stage this winter! The show is a cast of 9- at this time we are exploring to see if an ensemble makes sense so do not let the cast size hinder you from auditioning.

Auditions are open to any CURRENTLY enrolled

Please prepare TWO of the following selections of your choice! Spelling Bee is all about character- so please bring some strong character choices to auditions!

Lead Callback:

The third and final night of auditions will be lead callbacks. This is when we need to see your character shine through!

Olive- I Love You

Rona- I Love You

Barfee- Magic Foot

Leaf- I'm Not That Smart

Marcy- I Speak Six Languages

Chip- My Unfortunate Distraction (Any reference recording you use will have a different lyric- we will NOT be using the original lyrics.)

Logainne- Woe Is Me

Mitch- Prayer Of The Comfort Counselor

Olive's Dad- I Love You (This role will be doubled with another cast member, we just want to hear this specific section.)
